Kalalea Gordon (fka Alona)
Kalalea began her training in massage and manual therapies in 1980, and has been practicing massage professionally since 1999. She's studied, and continues studying healing from a variety of perspectives: including Ayurveda, Buddhism, Shamanism, Usui Reiki, and body-mind psychology.
Her style draws foundationally from traditions of Hawaii, Japan and India; weaving together Western techniques such as swedish, Lomi Lomi, trigger point, and myofascial therapies with the Eastern approach of acting with the body, not on the body.
This approach calls for listening, not just to what is spoken during the intake process, but to the voice of the body. The body reveals it's truth like an innocent animal, or the subconscious mind. It cannot lie. If a therapist listens & responds with acceptance, appropriate technique, flexibility & innovation. And you, the client, allow -trusting your body & the process- a positive, therapeutic outcome is achieved. It'd be an honor to work with you. Namaste.
Kelleen Theis
Kelleen's extensive background in sports and natural healing arts gives her a broad basis for her approach to a thorough full body deep therapeutic massage. Her emphasis is on lymph, joint, and muscle release techniques, bringing length and circulation to muscles to relieve joints, ligaments and tendons. Hers is a unique blend of strength and nurturing. Along with her continued interest in biking and swimming, she has been a long time student of yoga and pilates. She loves to garden, parent and create good food.
